Dear AFGE Member,
Honor the commitment, service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans by joining AFGE at the National Veterans Day ceremonies Nov. 11 at Arlington National Cemetery. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. with a concert by the United States Army Band, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb for the Unknowns and a presentation inside the Memorial Amphitheater.
The events will be hosted by:
· Eric Shinseki, U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs
· Russell Vowinkel, Commander-in-Chief of the Military Order of the World Wars
· Major General Michael Linnington, Commander of the U.S. Army Military District of Washington
· Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region
